Elle  est  rest\u00e9e  en  service  jusqu&rsquo;apr\u00e8s  la  Seconde  Guerre  mondiale  et  figure  parmi  les  forteresses  les  mieux  conserv\u00e9es  d&rsquo;Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Son  bon  \u00e9tat  s&rsquo;explique  \u00e9galement  par  le  fait  que,  bien  qu&rsquo;elle  ait  \u00e9t\u00e9  utilis\u00e9e  lors  des  deux  guerres  mondiales,  la  forteresse  n&rsquo;a  connu  que  deux  jours  de  combat.  Vers  la  fin  de  la  Seconde  Guerre  mondiale,  des  partisans  italiens  s&#8217;empar\u00e8rent  de  la  forteresse.  Ils  braqu\u00e8rent  les  canons  sur  les  occupants  allemands  et  forc\u00e8rent  ainsi  un  accord  de  retrait.<\/p>\n<p>Les  immenses  tourelles  de  canons,  \u00e9galement  bien  conserv\u00e9es,  sont  particuli\u00e8rement  impressionnantes.
